The Deputy Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muhammad Oyanki, has expressed optimism that President Bola Tinubu would win a second term in 2027 with a landslide victory.
He also said that the APC governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Sen. Ahmed Aliyu-Wadada, would emerge victorious in the general elections.
The lawmaker stated this on Wednesday in Lafia while hosting a socio-political group, “G-13 for Wadada and Oyanki,” from Doma Local Government Area of the state.
Oyanki, who is the APC candidate for Doma North Constituency, observed that President Tinubu’s developmental strides would earn him a second term in 2027.
The deputy speaker appreciated the group for the visit, solidarity, and endorsement, while assuring them of his support at all times.
“I want to call on you to continue to mobilise grassroots support for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, our APC governorship candidate, and all other APC candidates.
“By the grace of God, come 2027, President Tinubu will be re-elected and Sen. Wadada will win the governorship election in the state.
“The APC-led government’s achievements are there for everybody to see, and our achievements will earn victory for APC come 2027,” he said.
The deputy speaker said the APC was a party to watch out for and a party to beat in 2027.
He advised the visitors to remain law-abiding and to engage in peaceful and issues-based campaign.
Earlier, Alhaji Ibrahim Shettima, the leader of the group, said the visit was to identify with Oyanki over his good leadership.
“We are here to appreciate your good work and to endorse you for a second term because you have done well,” he said.
He informed the lawmaker of their political activities and solicited his support to succeed.
