The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Yemi Akinwonmi has said the disturbing and uncomfortable conditions and situations Nigerians have found themselves in are the reason the party is rising up to the occasion to rescue the nation in 2023.
Akinwonmi made these remarks in a speech during his address at the ongoing PDPs special national convention held at Eagle Square venue of the convention in Abuja.
His words: “I am personally happy to associate himself with the winning party come to 2023 General Election. I call on all members of this party to come together and bury our personal, individual, and collective differences and put the PDP and the interest of Nigeria above any consideration.
“We all know the disturbing and uncomfortable conditions and situation Nigerians are in today due to loss of power. The APC led-government is so clueless that Nigerians need a better hand to get them out of this mess. I believed we can do it as we did before.

“I cannot address this Elective National Convention without paying tribute to our State Governors who are the pillars of support to this great party. Special commendations go to our dogged members of the National Assembly, Elders, Leaders and Stakeholders of our great party”, he stated.
He said he is particularly glad that the leadership that will lead the party to victory come 2023 will emerge today, saying that APC has failed the nation woefully and Nigerians cannot wait anymore to confine them to where they belong.
