Mr Sunday Ajimoko, the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the on-going Oye Local Government Area election in Ekiti State says the exercise has been peaceful.
Ajimoko in Oye-Ekiti, said that the turnout of voters could be rated 70 per cent because people felt it was just an ordinary election.
“To the glory of God the on-going local government election has been peaceful; every ward and unit is calm.

“I am aware that some polling units experienced low turnout, perhaps because I am the sole candidate for the chairmanship position.
“I urge our people who are yet to vote to go to their various polling units and cast their votes,’’ Ajimoko told NAN.
