The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday unveiled the newly constructed Blue Line Rail in the state.

This was announced in a tweet by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat.

According to Gawat, this is the Completion of the first Phase of the BLUE LINE RAIL Project Infrastructure (Marina to Mile 2) by the governor.

He further stated that the blue line is one of seven Lagos metro rail lines, spanning from Marina to Okokomaiko .
