Why I enjoy playing villains, morally grey roles – Eso Dike

Nollywood actor, Eso Dike has disclosed that he likes playing villain characters because it gives him more room to interpret his role.
The thespian also revealed his admiration for “lover boy” roles because of the challenges he face while interpreting them.
Asked the kind of roles he loves to play and the most challenging, Dike replied, “It depends. I enjoy playing villains—the sinister, morally grey characters—because they’re so much fun and offer room for interpretation. But I also enjoy playing the lover boy roles. I like a bit of everything. It keeps me challenged and allows me to grow.”
Also, the Delta State-born law graduate spoke about a viral video where he proposed to a lady, he noted that it was scripted and not real.
He said, “Marriage has been quite a complicated topic. That particular proposal actually happened on a movie set, and I thought it would be a fun idea to post about it and suggest I was taking the leap. I realised my followers were very invested in seeing me in love or getting married. So, every time I post something like that—even if it’s obviously part of a film or just a joke—they go wild. The engagement is massive. I tease them occasionally, and it gets people off my back, at least for a while.”
