During a press briefing in Abuja, the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu has directed that all schools be opened.
This follows the six-months closure of schools and borders to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This order from the Federal Government orders all schools to be opened by October 12.
Adamu advised all institutions to obey and adhere to the guidelines for the reopening of schools, earlier announced by the presidential task force.
He also said that all unity schools have been ordered opened by October 12 and that state and private schools can decide their own modalities for reopening.
