Man kills employee in Prague

A man shot and killed an administrative employee at an employment office in Prague.
The woman was initially resuscitated but later died of injuries in the hospital, Czech police said on Tuesday.
The shooter was arrested in the city center in the afternoon.
Beforehand, hundreds of police officers had searched the streets in a wide radius around the labo office for the fugitive, several helicopters were also used.
The background to the crime was probably ongoing disputes between the Czech man and the authorities.
The suspected shooter, who is said to be about 60 years old, was dangerous, the police warned while he was still on the run.
Police believe it is the same man who allegedly injured a woman with a corrosive liquid in the central Bohemia region some time ago.

The officers had stormed the suspect’s flat earlier at the weekend to arrest him, in the process; an officer had been slightly injured in the ear by a booby trap.
The man was not at home and had been on the run ever since.
