One of President Bola Tinubu’s new Ministerial nominees, Balarabe Abbas fainted on Wednesday during screening by the Senate.
According to reports, Abbas collapsed from exhaustion during the exercise.
It was learnt that some senators went to his aid and tried to revive him with water, on the orders of the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

He was subsequently rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
ThisNigeria reported that President Tinubu had forwarded a fresh 3-man list of Ministerial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
They include Dr Jamila Ibrahaim and Ayodele Olawande and Balarabe Abbas.
