Armed bandits stormed the home of late Moshood Abiola’s family at Ikeja, Lagos, on Wednesday at around 4 am.
Cash and valuables worth millions of Naira were carted away after the family was made to undergo a humiliating and harrowing experience.
In spite of it all, Tundun Abiola, one of MKO Abiola’s children said, ‘We are consoled by the fact that no life was lost in this unfortunate and frightening incident.
“We give glory to Almighty Allah and we thank friends and family members across the world who have called and sent messages of support and solidarity.”
The family has received a visit from Hakeem Odumosu, Lagos State Commissioner of Police.
