APC urges Nigerians to support Tinubu’s reforms, pray for peace

The All Progressives Congress has called on Nigerians to use this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration to promote peace, tolerance and national unity while supporting ongoing efforts by the administration of President Bola Tinubu to improve the country’s fortunes.
The party made the call in a statement issued on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, to mark the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The APC urged Muslims and other Nigerians to reflect on the Prophet’s teachings, particularly his emphasis on peace, humility, selflessness, love and sacrifice.
According to the party, these values remain essential to strengthening peaceful coexistence in Nigeria’s diverse society.
It called on Nigerians to demonstrate greater tolerance and harmony in their communities, saying the occasion provided an opportunity for citizens to reflect on their responsibilities towards one another and the nation.
The party also urged Nigerians to remain prayerful for the country’s peace, stability and prosperity as the Tinubu administration implements its reform agenda.
“We urge Nigerians to remain steadfast in prayer for a peaceful, strong, prosperous and united nation as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration continues to implement crucial reforms aimed at ushering in a new era of sustainable growth, security, and prosperity for all Nigerians,” Morka said.
The APC congratulated Muslim faithful across the country and wished them a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
