The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has said that he will not resign his position.
Prince Secondus said, in a short statement from his media office, nothing so far warrants his resignation from the party position and those tiny minority calling for his resignation should come clean and tell party members across the country his offense why he should resign.
He said he will remain focussed and committed to the ideals of the party which he swore to protect and defend upon his election to lead this great party 44 months ago.
Meanwhile, the Youths of the party across the country have invaded the party Secretariat protesting that Prince Uche Secondus must resign his position.
The Youths with different placards are saying that the party can not continue to loose its Governors, Senators, House of Representatives Members and other top party faithful to other party.
Some of the placards reads, ” Uche Secondus is a tax collector”, “As the name implies, he always settled for second”, “Uche Secondus is Self Centered”, “Secondus must resign for the party to grow”.
They however called on the Governors under the party platform to prevail on Secondus to resign as they vowed to remain in Wadata until they achieved their aims.
