Popular singer, Asake, has responded to a Nigerian man, Fatai Odunsi, who is claiming to be the father.
In a now-viral video which started trending on Friday, Odunsi appealed to the public for financial assistance, citing severe health challenges.
“I am the father to Asake who is singing. The last time I saw him was when this thing happened to me on March 29, 2022.
“He does not pick up my calls anytime I call him. Now I have become tired. I have been looking for this my brother and I recently met with him,” he said.
The claim has since divided the Nigerian social media space.
Responding, Asake, in a freestyle video, admitted that the man in the viral video is his father.
The singer, however, claimed to have been fending for the man.
