Current Edo state governor and gubernatorial aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has met with Apostle Johnson Suleman, General Overseer, Omega Fire Ministries International on Sunday.
Obaseki said he went to the church to receive prayers ahead of the upcoming polls.
Obaseki and his deputy, Phillip Shaibu, met Suleman at his church headquarters in Auchi where Suleman promised to pray for Obaseki stating that the current administration deserves another four years in the state.
“Though the altar is not for politics, the church will not stop to pray for those in authority. I am a close friend of the running mate to the governor, and I believe the present administration deserves to steer the ship of the state for another four years,” Suleman said.
