The staff of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) are to benefit from LASEPA’s partnership with Kingstripes Care Foundation to boost eye care for its workers.
‘Enabling Clearer Vision for a Clearer Environment’ was a workshop stemming from the partnership between LASEPA and Kingstripes and it was aimed at sensitizing LASEPA’s workers on ways to improve environmental sustainability with effective performance.
Also, two hundred LASEPA workers were beneficiaries of a two-day free eye screening.
Dr Dolapo Fasawe, General Manager of LASEPA, stressed that the importance of LASEPA’s partnership with Kingstripes cannot be overemphasized.
Fasawe said that “As a public health professional, I observed through my encounter with the staff that as a result of failing vision, they often produced suboptimal results, which informed my major inspiration for the free eye care programme to further engage and inspire them for better performance.”
