Gunmen shoot three dead in Edo community over leadership tussle

Three persons were reportedly killed at the Uselu-Nahor community in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo on Wednesday following a leadership tussle.

Police spokesman, SP Katongs Bello, confirmed the incident but said he had yet to get further details.

The Gunmen attacked the victims, one of whom was the Chief Security Officer of the community at their duty post at Ahor Kara.

The deceased was collecting parking fees from vehicles when the gunmen opened fire on them, killing the three on the spot.

Sources in the community attributed the development to the lingering leadership tussle in the community.

It was gathered that residents and shop owners hurriedly fled from the scene.
