Prof Omololu Soyombo, the acting Vice-Chancellor, rallied for support as he visited the Senate Building of the University of Lagos.
He recognised his appointment as Acting Vice-Chancellor as a call to service and hopes that with the support of the unions, the school would be better again. Staff welfare and development are his major concern upon assuming office.
However, it appears that Prof Soyombo is not getting everyone’s support as the Unilag chapter of ASUU still considers Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe as the school’s Vice-Chancellor.
