There are indications that the current Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, in charge of Police Academy, POLAC, Kano, Zanna Ibrahim, may have been the choice as new acting Inspector General of Police, until the appointment is ratified by the Police council
Zanna will succeed Mohammed Adamu who was to retire yesterday , first of February, 2021, after serving the mandatory 35 years.
This is baring any last minute changes from President Muhammadu Buhari and his inner closet cabinet and Think-tank
Force Headquarters sources which confirmed the latest development to ThisNigeria, said AIG Ibrahim, has been summoned to the Villa and his appointment, first , in acting capacity, will be announced soon .
