A Lagos-based pastor, Blessed Testimony has sent out a member of his church, identified only as Emma, during a service over alleged gossip.
In a video he shared on his verified Facebook page, the preacher called the member, who is a chorister, and ordered him to leave the church without returning.
He tagged the member as his enemy, saying that he was after the downfall of the ministry. He vowed to curse him if he returned to the church, noting that nobody could change his decision, not even his wife.
Pastor Testimony further promised to make it a pattern to “banish” any member who errs.
On what informed his decision, Testimony narrated, “One of our colleagues, a woman of God, came here to worship with us. He didn’t know that the woman of God belonged to the same Christian group as me. This evil man, when the church closed, went to the woman’s church to tell her not to visit my church anymore.
“He also told the woman of God that I can’t allow anyone to preach on my altar. She called me to inform me. Emma came to my church with a health condition and I helped him to solve it but he repaid me with evil.”
