The National Commissioner of Independent National Electoral Commission in charge of Bauchi Borno and Yobe, Modibbo Alkali (rtd) has issued certificate of return to governor Bala Mohammed and 31 House of Assembly members who elected in the just concluded election.

Alkali explained that the Commission has demostrated it responsibility of conducting a credible electioneering process.

Alkali who stated this at the state collation center, while presenting certificates of return to elected leaders in Bauchi, also commended electorates for their patience and resilience during the whole electioneering process.

Earlier, the resident electoral commissioner Muhammed Nura Bulama called on those elected to fulfill their promises to Nigerians who gave them their mandate at the polls.

While receiving the certificate, Governor-elect and the incumbent, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed says he will continue to serve the people of the state through hardwork and dedication.

The governor urged those who lost in the election to accept the will of God, and join him to work for the entire state.
