The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo says it has set up a six-man committee to mobilize new registrants for the ongoing INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) inwards across the state.
A statement by Mr. Chris Nehikhare, state Publicity Secretary of the party, said on Monday, in Benin, that members of the committee were drawn from the 192 wards in the state.
He added that the ward chairman, secretary, woman leader, youth leader, and two others, may be nominated by the ward to constitute members of the committee.
Nehikhare explained that the committee was expected to monitor, mobilize and enlighten residents on the CVR, including voting age, to enable them to come out and register in the ongoing exercise.

“Your vote does matter and one vote can make all the difference in the world.
“Edo PDP is listening to the voice of Edo People”, Nehikhare said in the statement.
