The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos has debunked insinuations on social media that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos has “opened up” and “shaking”.
There were reports on social media on Monday that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos had ‘opened up’ and was ‘shaking’.
But reacting to the reports the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing’s Director Press & Public Relations Mr Boade Akinola in a statement said that insinuations making the rounds on social media that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos has “opened up” and “shaking” and, therefore, unsafe to traffic was both false and unfounded.
The statement reads: “The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, Engineer Olukayode Popoola, has debunked insinuations making the rounds in the social media that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos has “opened up” and “shaking” and, therefore, unsafe to traffic saying the claim was both false and unfounded.
