The Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State, has nullified the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention held in the city on November 15, 2025.
In its ruling, the court barred Ambassador Turaki and other officials elected at the convention from parading themselves as national officers of the party.
The court further declared that the Caretaker Committee led by Abdulrahman, alongside Senator Samuel Anyanwu, remains the only recognised National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP.
According to the judgment, the caretaker leadership will continue to oversee the affairs of the party pending the conduct of a valid and properly constituted National Convention.
The ruling is expected to have significant implications for the internal leadership structure of the PDP as the party moves to resolve its ongoing disputes.
