Police have arrested the mechanic responsible for the maintenance of the vehicles of abducted igbo business man that was killed in the forest by the kidnappers, Mr Augustine okoye .

The mechanic called Segun was sighted in the forest by the deceased’s wife, Mrs Bolaji Okoye .

Mrs Okoye in her hospital bed at Ikare-Akoko revealed that her husband and herself were starved ,tortured before he gave up ghost.

According to her,she would want justice to be done on the matter.

The mechanic has pointed to others who masterminded the abduction.

Police source said the mechanic has been transferred to anti kidnapping section of the State Police Command, Akure from Ikare Akoko while investigation continues.

The family of the deceased.Okoye from Imo state has refused to leave Ikare until his corpse is recovered from the forest.
