Gombe Gov sacks three commissioners, reshuffles cabinet

Gombe Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has reshuffled his cabinet , sacking three Commissioners

The Governor has also nominated replacements to the state Assembly for screening and confirmation.

A statement signed by the Secretary to Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, said the Governor’s action is in a bid to further consolidate on the operations of government

In the routine movement, Mohammed Danladi Adamu, moves from Lands and Survey to Rural, Community Development and Cooperatives, while Dr. Habu Dahiru is redeplyed from Ministry of Education to Ministry of Health

Usman Jafun Biri moves from Ministry of Rural, Community Development and Cooperatives to Ministry of Lands and Survey

Others are Julius Ishaya from Ministry of Youth Development to Ministry of Information and Culture and Dauda Batari Zambuk from Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation to Ministry of Education

In addition, Adamu Dishi Kupto is redeployed from Ministry of Housing and Urban Development to Ministry of Internal Security and Ethical Orientation

However, those sacked with immediate effect, are, Alhassan Ibrahim Kwami – Information & Culture, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Gana- Health and Mela Audu Nunghe (SAN)- Special Duties

They have been directed to handover the affairs of their ministries to their respective Permanent Secretaries While the Governor thanked them for their services to Gombe State and wishes them well in their future endeavors.

Meanwhile, Christopher Abdu Buba Maisheru ,Abdullahi Idris Kwami and Abubakar Aminu Musa, have been nominated by the Governor, pending their confirmation by the Gombe State House of Assembly.
