Bisi Alimi, a Nigerian gay rights activist has criticized couples who give birth to children they can not cater for.

Alimi, via his Instagram stories, opined that no one in their “right senses” would give birth to children, only to make them suffer.

He wrote: “No one in their right senses in Nigeria should have a child unless such persons have been able to feed, clothe and cater for themselves.

“I think it is a pure act of extreme wickedness for you to be suffering, then have sex and make babies when you cannot meet yours and their everyday needs. You cannot do that and say you love the kids. It is a lie. Only hatred will make you do such.

“Is Nigeria not mean enough as it is? Why are people still getting married  and having kids? It is only a wicked person that will have kids in Nigeria because I do not understand how you think the suffering is sexy that you bring a completely innocent soul to join you in the orgy.”
