Covid-19: What FG can do to cushion hardship

As Nigerian’s expect lockdown any moment from now should reported cases of Covid-19 keeps increasing, a configurations of jigawa Artisan’s are of the opinion that federal and state government’s should design an effective palliatives distributions that will cater for all and sundry.

“The palliatives we are talking about should embrace all cadres and not segregated to only particular section’s of the country, nor Nigerians.Let all enjoy such  government’s gesture”

In an interviewed with This Nigeria, the state secretary of ACOMORAN, Mal. Yau Mohammed said we look forward in seeing government’s at all levels take care of its citizens in providing enough palliatives in form of food stuffs, among others especially to the less privileged in society’s in case of the proposed lockdown.

Mohammed who was speaking from past experience of the lockdown stated we the less privileged suffers a lot during the last lockdown, since apart from discrimination due to political parties affiliation, we are sideline from scheme of thing’s in getting equal share as far as palliatives distribution is concern.

But to Mal. Usman Yaro a petty trader who said my appeal to authority’s concern was let there be proper public enlightenment on issues of palletiaves distribution for community involve to be fully abreast of what is going on. Also govt should maintain the stance of fairness, equity, and social justice in the distribution exercise of such a government gesture.

Speaking in the same vein, Dankawu Ado said my appeal to the authority concern was for them to give concession to the older one’s in society when ever government’s gives out palletiatives to cushion the effects of Covid-19 in all states in the federation.

To business community, Shehu Garki a merchandized called for business incentives to businessmen as a support to cover the loses incurred during lockdown period, as in the past where majority of us suffered a lot.
