You have no political value, Bode George tells ex-Niger gov, Aliyu

By Ben Ogbemudia, Abuja
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),f Bode George, yesterday said it is disheartening to hear that a former governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu has been advising the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, to ignore those who have decided to stay off the party’s presidential campaign.

George said it is sad that Aliyu who has no political value anymore in Niger State has the courage to advise Atiku

According to him, if the former federal permanent secretary is the person to advise Atiku, it therefore means that PDP’s dream of winning the 2023 general election is already in jeopardy.
George, a Board of Trustees (BoT) member of the party, stressed that if Aliyu is the kind of person Atiku surrendered himself with, “it shows that he (Atiku) will be worse than Muhammadu Buhari”.

“Can you imagine, Babangida Aliyu running his mouth like a typewriter. A man who cannot win a ward election in his own state advising a presidential candidate of what to do? It Is a pity. This is a man the former governor of Niger State brought to us to help him.

“At the end, Babangida Aliyu betrayed Ahmed Kure. That trouble led to Kure’s death. At appropriate time, I will talk more on his character as a human being that cannot be trusted. “
