As early as 8am, no fewer than 150 voters had arrived at polling unit 018, located at post office, Moshood Abiola way, City centre, Abuja Municipal Area Council to exercise their civic rights.

ThisNigeria observed that as at 7:25am, the first set of INEC officials had arrived with materials and at 7:46am, the second sienna carrying INEC officials and materials arrived the polling unit.

Security personnel’s were also in sight. Eligible voters were seated and others in clusters engrossed in discussions while they await accreditation.

2023 polls: Slow start in Abuja community

One of the voters, Jonah Onyali, disclosed to ThisNigeria that he arrived the polling unit as early as 6:45am to get accredited early enough and cast his vote before the sun comes up.
