Afrobeats star, Zinoleesky has revealed that he absconded from home at a young age to pursue a music career.
The Marlian Records artist recounted that he did a lot of crazy things to focus on his music career.
According to the singer, most Nigerian parents don’t encourage their children who choose a career in the entertainment industry.
He noted that most parents prefer their offspring to have professional careers instead of entertainment.
“Nigerian parents are always in denial whenever you want to do stuff like music. They want you to do a professional course or learn a trade. So, you just have to find a way. Me, I did some crazy stuff. I ran away from home to do music,” he said.
The ‘Kilofeshe’ crooner also revealed that he started his music career as a rapper before switching to singing.
Zinoleesky became an internet sensation in 2017 after freestyle videos gained viral traction online.
