
A woman identified as Mrs Oluwakemi Adeoye, who became famous after her son pleaded with her to calm down in a viral video, has reportedly taken her own life in Benin, Edo State.
According to an X user, Mrs Adeoye had been suffering from depression and anxiety.
He said she was reportedly found dead in her apartment on Tuesday morning by her husband, who had returned from a business trip.

He said: “The woman in the viral Mummy Calm Down video has just committed suicide here in Benin.
“She refused to speak to anyone about her problems.
“She left 3 kids for her husband including the popular Mummy Calm down boy.”
