A Deputy Inspector General of Police, Joseph Egbunike has passed away.
Egbunike, who was in charge of the Force Criminal Investigations Department, died on Tuesday, March 8th.
According to reports, the deceased slumped in his office at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
It was learnt that before his death, Egbunike had met with his doctor for medical checks after feeling unwell.

The deceased was heading the Special Investigation Panel constituted by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, to investigate the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, over money laundering allegations.
