VIDEO: Two INEC offices in Ebonyi burnt down

Two Ebonyi offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been burnt down by some unidentified persons on Tuesday night.

The Commission made this known via Twitter on Wednesday.

According to INEC, the offices are located at the Ebonyi and Ezza North Local Government Areas of the state.

“ATTACK ON INEC OFFICE IN EBONYI STATE. Last night, Tue 18th May 2021, two INEC offices in Ebonyi and Ezza North Local Government Areas of Ebonyi State were attacked & burnt down by unidentified persons,” the tweet read.

It also shared pictures and clips of the destruction wreaked by the attackers.

The Enugu, Abia and Akwa Ibom offices of the commission have also been attacked in the past month by unidentified persons, destroying electoral materials and office equipment.
