The National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and for governor of Lagos State Senator Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said that the wife of the president Mrs Dr. Aisha Buhari, has been a voice of conscience calling Nigerian leaders to be better self for the good of the nation and for the vulnerable.
Tinubu made this known on Thursday in Abuja during a public presentation of a book entitled “Aisha Buhari Being Different“ organized by the Office of the First Lady of Nigeria, in collaboration with Women and National Development (WAND), an NGO.
Tinubu said that first lady, Aisha Buhari, has played an uplifting, unifying role both in symbol and substance.
The book was written by Dr Hajo Sani in honor of the First Lady, Hajia Aisha Muhammadu Buhari.

He said: “Given the first lady’s achievement, no one can reasonably question the role of a first lady any longer,” the former governor of Lagos said.
“Remember that there were those who argued that the constitution does not assign any official role to the first lady. With Mrs Dr. Aisha Buhari, their concerns have been forever laid to rest.
“(The) first lady has played an uplifting, unifying role both in symbol and substance. She has been a voice of conscience calling us to be of our better self for the good of the nation and for the vulnerable among us.”
