The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has extended her deepest condolences to the Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, and the Bauchi State Senator Bala Mohammed, on the recent disaster in their states.
Tinubu, in a statement yesterday, described the boat mishap that claimed lives in Sokoto and the flooding incident in Bauchi State where lives were also lost and property destroyed as very unfortunate.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones and properties, as well as those who have been displaced.
“May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace and May God comfort the affected families and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the First Lady said.
