Mr Adekunle Adeyemi, Chairman, Contact Committee, for the forthcoming Nigeria Association of Physical and Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance, (NAPHER.SD), South-West Conference, says the committee will work toward the success of the conference in Ekiti.
Adeyemi, also said that the committee members would use their influences to attract personalities and logistics to assist the association during the programme.
He gave the assurance on Monday at a meeting of the Ekiti branch of the association in Ado-Ekiti.
Adeyemi, who is also the General Manager, Ekiti Sports Council, said that he had already secured a befitting Hall for the use of the conference.
He said that his committee briefed the meeting on some of the activities and steps already taken in preparation for the conference.
Adeyemi listed some of the mandates of his committee to include venue and accommodation, workshop, scientific, publicity, finance, security and medical.
He said that the committee was working hard on them for successful hosting in Ekiti.
Commenting, the Chairman of NAPHER.SD in Ekiti, Dr Collins Aribamikan, urged the committee members to expedite action toward achieving the desired goals of their mandates.
Responding, Chief Amos Ariyo, Chairman, Local Organising Committee for the Conference, said that a meeting of all the committee would soon be convened to obtain their progress reports.
