discountenance the false impression of a subsisting court judgement nullifying the corporate existence and authenticity of his Vigilante Group of Nigeria.

The group in press statement signed by Navy Captain Umar Bakori, and made available to newsmen in Abuja, states: “the Vigilante Group of Nigeria is a registered organization with registration number RC: 11834, and it is not currently under any litigation with any individual or organisation, hence there is no any court judgement against its National Chairman and Commander General in person of retired Navy Captain Umar Bakori, nor its National Secretariat which is in possession of its original certificate of incorporation and other documents”.

“Let it be emphasized that, no Vigilante member should entertain any
court judgement which is not against our organisation – Vigilante
Group of Nigeria or the Chairman and Commander General”

“In case of any court judgement against any person, such judgement
should be delivered to the person concerned.”the statement emphasized.

The group, however, cautioned that henceforth, all correspondences originating from their office shall be stamped with the official seal of ‘Vigilante Group of Nigeria’, in order to check the activities of fraudulent characters who go about parading themselves as officials of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria.
