The Lagos State House of Assembly has passed the Value Added Tax bill on Thursday.
This comes after the House held separate public hearings on the bill on Wednesday
It also passed the anti-open grazing bill after unanimous votes by lawmakers.
Speaking after the passing of the bill, Speaker Mudashiru Obasa applauded the lawmakers for the passage of the bills.

“I commend your passion to see that the state continues to grow.
“I thank you all for this historic exercise,” he said.
Obasa then directed the Acting Clerk of the House, Olalekan Onafeko, to transmit a clean copy to the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for assent.
