The Lagos State Government has commenced a clampdown on motorcyclists in the Lekki area of Lagos following the gruesome murder of a man identified as Dave.
ThisNigeria reported that Dave was lynched by a mob of motorcyclists after an altercation with one of them over N100 change.
Announcing the news via Twitter on Monday, a media aide to the state Governor, Jubril Gawat said that a total of 123 riders have been arrested so far.

“The Lagos State Taskforce @Taskforce112 embarked on a serious clampdown on Okada Riders on the at lekki axis today.
“A total number of 123 have been arrested so far. This Operation will continue tomorrow,” Gawat tweeted.
