A social media influencer, Cynthia Lowo, popularly known as CY4LUV, urged that unmarried women should be respected as much as their married folks.
The entrepreneur kicked against tying a woman’s value and integrity to her marital status, stressing that a woman’s worth is defined by her actions and achievements.
“I always challenge the traditional belief that a woman must be married to be respected or considered to have value.
“A woman’s value or integrity is not inherently tied to her marital status. Each person’s worth is defined by a multitude of factors, including their character, actions, achievements, and how they treat others. I recognise the fact that marriage can be meaningful for many, but it is not a prerequisite for personal worth or societal respect,” CY4LUV stated.
Describing social media as a powerful tool that has redefined connection and opportunity in the modern age, the online influencer said, “Social media is a land of opportunities that has brought the world closer to us. It is kind of accessible to everyone. It’s not just a platform but a core part of my success and business operations.”
