Fourteen ships waiting to berth at Lagos ports ,NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Tuesday, said 14 ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with general cargo, plaster, container, base oil, bulk salt, ethanol and bulk sugar.

According to the NPA shipping position report, 21 other ships at the ports were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, fuel, container, bulk sugar, bulk salt and frozen fish.

It added that also being discharged were automobile gasoline, bulk gypsum and butane gas.

Meanwhile, 19 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected from Jan. 25 to Feb. 5.

The authority said the ships were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It indicated that the ships contained general cargo, bulk sugar, container, frozen fish, base oil, bulk salt, bulk coal, bulk wheat and butane gas.
