A former presidential candidate, Adamu Garba is trending on Twitter following the lifting of the ban placed on the microblogging platform by the Federal Government.
Recall that the FG suspended Twitter’s operations in June 2021 after the platform deleted a tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari.
For six months, some Nigerians had been accessing the platform with VPNs while others stayed away.
However, the ban was finally lifted at 12 am on Thursday, January 13th, 2022.
Reacting to the lifted ban, Twitter users began trolling Garba, who had strongly supported the move by the FG to suspend the use of the platform in Nigeria.
Adamu Garba had also launched his own platform, Crowwe, which received negative ratings from Nigerians on Google Playstore.
