Action Alliance (AA) on Tuesday, inaugurated its new set of executives for the 36 states in the Federation, while the party National Chairman Hon. Rufai Adekunle Omo-Aje charged members of the party nationwide to increase membership drive.
Omo-Aje charged the freshly inaugurated chairmen of the state caretaker committees in Abuja at the party secretariat where he gave them each a three-month timeline to bring in 500 new members to the party.
Omo-Aje in his address stated that after securing judicial victory, the time to overhaul all its structures is now.

Omo-Aje said : “Your inauguration today is call to duty, an invitation to function and deliver.
“You shall carry on with our vision of total overhaul at your respective states down to the local government, wards and the unit levels without any waivers.
“Our vision is to achieve an additional 500 membership added to the party by your committees in your respective states.
“This fit will determine your eligibility to seek substantive chairmanship status at the coming state congresses.
“In essence, every one of you is expected to dispense a minimum of 500 membership cards within the next three months”.
Recall that the party which just earned a judicial victory at the higher court has also had its national executives’ names uploaded successfully on the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Meanwhile, the party has condemned and disassociated itself from a publication from one Dr. Mrs Cecilia Ikechukwu, describing it as an act of political chauvinism.
The said petitioner asserted that a petition was filed before a tribunal in Umuahia , Abia State long before the convocation of the current national assembly, but while puncturing Ikechukwu’s petition, the party chairman not only dismissed her threats, he likened her to a political blackmailer who was merely fighting a battle of a non member of the party.
