The South-South Zonal Working of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Caretaker Committees in Edo and Bayelsa states to lead the party.
This development was made public in a statement signed by the Zonal Publicity Secretary, Prince Etim Isong on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the committee will function for a period of three months, following the dissolution of Edo and Bayelsa states PDP executives over gross misconduct.
While Hon Nosa Ogieva will lead the PDP in Edo, George Turnah stands as PDP Bayelsa’s caretaker chairman.
