Damba-Kasaya community in Chikun LGA, Kaduna was thrown into a sad mood as the community was attacked on Monday by gunmen.
The attackers, who were in large numbers, had carried out their operations upon entering the village around 8 in the morning on motorcycles and stormed into Prince Academy where they kidnapped a JSS 3 student. They had also vandalised properties in Aminci Baptist Church where they broke into.
The number of kidnapped ones has not been verified but it looks like they carted quite a number away. One villager was shot at while chasing the attackers.
The State Command of the Police could not be reached to verify the information.
