A cross section of residents of Ondo state on sunday described the Judiciary as an arbiter and the last hope of common person globally
They reacted to the last Friday Apex Court judgement on new naira notes of N200,N500 and N1000 by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
A woman leader and Acting Secretary of Akoko Women Chiefs, Mrs Ajayi Ogidi noted that the monetary policy nearly strangulated the economic structure of the country.
According to her, the situation led to acute shortage of cash in circulation making banks to be closed while POS are charging exorbitantly .

Another respondent, Lawyer Bayo Awe from described Friday judgement as an evidence that judiciary is the hope for citizenry while urging the executive arm of government in the country to always obey court judgement.
Awe said the draconian monetary policy of the Central Bank brought an untold hardships on the people.
A market woman, Mrs Anike Ologunofe commended the governors who approached the Supreme Court including Governor Olurotimi Akeredolu to seek redress as heroes of democracy .
Mrs Ologunofe urged the Central Bank as from today(Monday) to pump money to the commercial banks nationwide to reduce the suffering of the masses based on the supreme court verdict.
The problem on Naira swap is still overrwhelming in the state as residents continue to suffer dearth of Naira cash to transact.
Many residents remained at home on Sunday because of lack of raw cash to spend on obligatory expenses mandatory on sundays.
An Anglican priest who spoke in confidence lamented that the current new Naira policy had affected the running of affairs in the church.
According to him, there is no cash to buy petrol for running the generator, no money to even buy wine for Holy Communion service as well as other routine services.
With the latest Supreme Court judgement,the cleric urged the CBN to make both Old and new Naira notes to available for the benefit of the masses.
