#EndSARS: IGP Inspects Carnage On Edo Police Stations

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu on Wednesday visited locations of police formations that were attacked, vandalised and looted in Edo State during the recent #EndSARS protests.

Accompanied by the state deputy governor, Phlilip Shaibu, and State Police Commissioner Johnson Kokumo he also visited the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) whereas some police officers were recuperating from injuries during the protests.

The IG saw the wreckage of the Ivbiotor, OBA Market and Ugbekun Police Stations and the two Nigeria Correctional Service Custodial Centers at Oko and Sapele Road, all in Benin City.
