The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has removed a Senator representing Taraba Central in the Senate, Emmanuel Bwacha as the Deputy Minority leader.

Recall that Bwacha announced his defection from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on February 3rd after a visit to the Presidential Villa.

However, a Senator representing Taraba North, Shuaibu Isa Lau has been nominated as Bwacha’s replacement by the PDP.

This was announced in a letter addressed to the Senate by the PDP chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
