By David Lawani
Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, has maintained that the only way out of poverty and unemployment challenges in the country through making deliberate policies to transform ideas into reality.

According to him, the fact that a man is not educated doesn’t stop him from being employed.

Oshiomhole made this disclosure during a press briefing to mark the 46th birthday of one one of former Edo State’s Chiefs of Staff (CoS) to the governor, Taiwo Akerele.

The anniversary was marked with a book presentation entitled: ‘Ariro’, which means ‘a reflection’.

In his remarks, Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State, said he disagreed with a former minister under military who once claimed that there was massive unemployment because there were lots of universities.

He commented the the former COS, whom he said, deemed it fit to launch an initiative, TiFA, coupled with a book launch, and not a movie centre, to celebrate his birthday.

“I don’t think it is just about money. For me, these are core values that are disappearing from our society. I think for me, it is a modern way to celebrate away from beating drums around anytime.

“It is a great idea and a great day. And I feel privileged to be part of it.
