A High Court in Benue has restrained Iyorchia Ayu from functioning as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Engineer Conrad Utaan had filed a suit against Ayu and the Peoples Democratic Party, seeking to restrain him from parading himself as the National Chairman of the PDP following his suspension by the Benue state chapter of the party.
Justice U.I Kpochi granted the request and adjourned the the case till April 7, 2023.
ThisNigeria reported that the Benue State chapter of the PDP had suspended Ayu’s membership over alleged anti-party activities.
