2023: We will adopt a position fair to all – PDP zoning committee

The 37- man zoning committee headed by the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom on Tuesday told journalists that the committee has unanimously adopted a position that will be fair to all.

The meeting which lasted about five and a half hours saw some members of the committee looking moody, signifying that there was a total disagreement within them.

Governor Ortom, alongside Chief Bode George, Sule Lamido and Governor of Enugu state told journalists at Benue Governor’s lodge, Asokoro that the committee report will be presented to the National Executive Committee.

“We have just finished our meeting, after we rose from our meeting last week, today we decided that we would meet and by the Grace of God we have unanimously adopted a position that will be sent to the NEC of our Party that appointed us.

“The good news for our teaming supporters of the PDP and Nigerians is that we have resolved and everyone of us, the 37 members unanimously adopted the position that we are going to present to NEC.”

Meanwhile, a member of the committee from the Northern part of Nigeria confided in ThisNigeria Newspaper that they unanimously agreed to open contest.
